South Korean Glow-Cats?

my cat does a lot of things, many very cute - but she doesn't glow. apparently they have these white lab-cats in South Korea that do. at least the clones do. is this good?

Impeach truck - third time's a charm

we continue to get feedback about the truck and the associated vandalism on a daily basis. there seems to be some real discontent with the weak artistic contribution of our nameless paint-bombers. luckily the new colors made it through the first night so i could snap this pic.

the black-and-white is Lucy and the super-cute tabby is Nicole, her daughter. the shots were taken in sequence - kiss first, then who.

they love to wander out onto the Westside dock in the morning to get some fresh air and sunshine (and some great bird-watching).

DCFoF places 8 cats over weekend

it was a good weekend to be a cat in the DCFoF network. eight lucky ones found new homes this weekend. this is eight more cats that will live natural lives and eight less cats showing up at DCHS (where i believe the limit is still 25). its eight cats closer to No Kill. four of them were placed at the Saturday adoption-fair (indoor/kittens) and the other four went to posh indoor/outdoor country farmsteads.

there is a ton of dedicated volunteer work that goes into getting these kitties healthy and socialized so that they can find placement in good homes. please consider supporting the work of No Kill-oriented rescue groups (like DCFoF) so that we can create the change we hope to see.

MadCat truck gets paint-bombed again

welcome to our new blog. it seemed easier to start a blog than to keep making/maintaining new webpages (i'm lazy). the story today is simple - our delivery-truck has been paint-bombed again - apparently late Friday night.
