super bowl mega awesome fun time show!
we're number one! we're number one!
that was some game, eh? and how about the commercials? did you have a favorite (aside from the star wars one which was every body's fav)?
what about this year's puppy bowl? did anyone in this state actually watch it? even the ever-adorable kitty half-time show was upstaged by the luminescent black-eyed peas and their kooky side-kick hijinx. (slash?!)
all in all it was a great show. go pack go!

would you like sugar, cream or kittehs?
newest trend to come out of tokyo - cat cafes. (psst ... doesn't the cat in the article look like nikki's japanese doppleganger?) coffee and kittehs are always a perfect combo, especially when they can give you answers to the crossword puzzle.
also - 12 bucks an hour to hang out with cats? we're givin it away for free.

snow? what snow!?
hey, we'll be a little late opening the stores today, guys. apparently something called "snowmageddon" is upon us and the city's gone snow-crazy.
gabby madcat's been out on her snowmobile all morning, going over sweet jumps and catching wicked air, as any madcat does. when she's come down from her adrenaline high she'll pick us all up and get us to work. intrepid madcdatters conquer all!
so hang tight for now. grab a coffee, eat some donuts, and enjoy the madness.

jurassic park, it's getting real
w000t! we've got a new dinosaur to get ironic tattoos of! titanoceratops ouranos is the largest of the ceratopsians with an 8-foot skull and weighing as much as an elephant!
and this week in bad ideas....apparently some scientists have yet to watch the classic 90s dino drama because they actually think inserting 10,000 year old woolly mammoth cells into an elephant embryo is going to turn out just fine. riiiiiiight.
let's see what dr. ian malcolm has to say about this:
"the lack of humility before nature that's being displayed here, uh... staggers me."
"yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
