snip snip!

dane county friends of ferals are having a spay-day this sunday, august 15th.

events like these are a crucial step in achieving a no kill community.  at the last marathon spayathon in may 148 cats were fixed in 24 hours. that's a lot of cats!  and a lot of unwanted babies.

if you're interested in supporting FoF or adopting a kitty come to the west-side store this saturday for the adoption fair from 12:00-3:30pm.

for more fun spayathon pics (including madcat's own Dr. Adam) take the jump!

spayathons and weather cats

looks like the cats of hawaii are going to get a little nip and tuck from spayathon master mind jeff young, who has spayed and neutured "more than 160,000 animals" in his life. wow. that's....impressive? do you think there's a guinness record holder for that category? well if there is, jeff young is on the warpath to victory.

in other mews, a german cat decided it was time to pursue his dream of becoming a meteorologist. i wonder if his forecasts will all be in terms of how cold he is; "too cold. way too cold. stay-in-bed-cold. sit-next-to-heater-cold."
